Review guidelines
Reviews on LosAngeles.IT are collected from verified buyers of IT services in Los Angeles County. Our goal is a trustworthy signal — not a marketing channel for providers.
Who can leave a review
- You must have engaged with the provider as a paying client (or completed a scoped pilot) within the last 24 months.
- You must use a verifiable work email tied to your organization.
- Providers cannot review themselves, competitors, partners or clients they hold ownership in.
Verification
Every submitted review is held in pending status until our team verifies the reviewer's identity and relationship. We may reach out for a short confirmation email or, for higher-value reviews, a 5-minute phone call.
What we publish
We publish the star rating, review title, body, project scope tag and a truncated reviewer attribution (first name, role, industry). We do not publish contact details.
What we remove
- Reviews that contain personal attacks, slurs, or unverified accusations.
- Reviews that reveal confidential technical or financial details of the provider or client.
- Reviews shown to originate from incentivized campaigns or coordinated inauthentic activity.
Provider responses
Providers can post one public response per review. Responses are held for editorial review and must follow the same civility standards.
Disputes
To dispute a review, email trust@losangeles.it.com with the review URL, your relationship to the provider, and any evidence. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
